A Special Birthday

Every birthday cake that I create is special, but I had a personal connection to this particular cake. We celebrated my husband’s grandmother’s 85th birthday this past weekend with nearly all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Maureen has been so welcoming to me since the first day that I met her and I always enjoy spending time with her. I admire her love for her family and she proudly boasts of the accomplishments of those she loves.

It’s for these reasons that I wanted to create a beautiful cake that would help us celebrate Maureen. I will ways remember the joyous smile on her face as her family sang “Happy Birthday” and she blew out all of the candles in one shot!
